wholesome, traditional,
unrefined, whole sugar.
It contains the natural
goodness of minerals and
vitamins inherently
present in sugarcane
juice & this crowns it
as one of the most
wholesome and healthy
sugars in the world. In
Mexico & South America,
it is also known as
panela.
Usage:
Our sugarcane
jaggery is used as
an ingredient in
both sweet and
savory dishes across
India and in many
more countries
around the world .
It is used in

Bengali and Gujarati
cuisine, lending
exquisite taste,
flavor and color to
the dishes.
Jaggery or Gur is
made by
concentrating the
wholesome richness
of sugarcane juice
and merely removing
the impurities from
the resultant syrup,
leaving intact the
native nutrients
present in natural
sugarcane juice,
making it a healthy
yet enjoyable
product and
therefore apart from
being a ready source
of carbohydrates,
Jaggery is rich in
essential aminoacids,
minerals and salts
including calcium,
potassium and iron
and we ensure that
you can avail of all
its natural
nutrients without
the intrusion of
harmful chemicals or
preservatives.
Health benefits
Jaggery is considered by
some to be a
particularly wholesome
sugar and, unlike refined
sugar, it retains more
mineral salts. Moreover,
the process does not
involve chemical agents.
Indian Ayurvedic
medicine considers
jaggery to be beneficial
in treating throat and
lung infections; Sahu
and Saxena[3] found that
in rats jaggery can
prevent lung damage from
particulate matter such
as coal and silica dust.
Gandhi felt that jaggery
was healthier than
refined sugar, as it was
not introduced into the
blood as rapidly.[4] As
such, he used it in his
own personal diet and
recommended it for use
in his invented
goat-milk diet (and all
other diets and eating
styles).
